Yo! White Plains

is inspired by Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, Sesame Street, Electric Company, The Muppet Show and Fab 5 Freddy-era Yo! MTV Raps.

The TV show’s producer, Tom Drapeau (resident of White Plains, NY) loved watching Fab 5 Freddy walk down the streets of the neighborhoods of the hip hop icons we came to know the songs of so well. This TV show is his love letter to those shows and the halcyon days of his youth.

Yo! White Plains is produced with care by White Plains Community Media at wpcommunitymedia.org.

It airs Fridays at 7pm and Saturdays at 10pm on Verizon Ch. 45 / Optimum Ch. 76 in Westchester County, NY. It is also available on YouTube!

The Latest episode is #6 - “Visiting Memorial Field in Mount Vernon, NY to see the Westchester Soccer Club!”.
